Croatian professional boxer Arijan Goricki once again demonstrated his character and quality on the international stage. After a difficult period marked by defeat, Goricki returned in the best possible way — with an impressive knockout victory in the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi.
According to official information from the Kenyan Boxing Federation, this appearance made Goricki the first Croatian boxer to represent Croatia in Kenya in this sport.
After a long and demanding training camp that lasted from January, the Croatian boxer traveled to Nairobi where local fighter Hassan Ndonga awaited him on May 15, 2026. The event was organized by Kalakoda Promotions and broadcast live on NTV Kenya.
Eight days before the fight, Goricki shared on social media that the training camp had been long and extremely demanding, but that discipline and patience were finally paying off.

“Maintaining top form for so long without a confirmed fight date was not easy, but I am ready,” Goricki wrote before departing for Nairobi.
On the eve of the fight, he further emphasized how much this bout meant to him:
“I was held back and pushed into the shadows for far too long. There are no more mistakes and no more leaving my fate in the hands of others. I came here to reclaim my path.”
Fighting on away soil, Goricki displayed outstanding preparation and mental strength. In the fourth round, he knocked out Ndonga with a powerful liver shot, securing a major international victory.

“The opportunity came, I grabbed it, and I made the absolute most out of it,” he said after the fight.
He especially thanked Kalakoda Promotions for their trust, as well as his team, friends, and family who supported him throughout the journey.
“My wife carries the biggest burden, and I am especially grateful to her for everything,” Goricki wrote after the victory.
With this win in Kenya, Arijan Goricki took an important step toward returning to the big stage and showed that his time is yet to come. The excitement surrounding both the victory and the performance itself was further confirmed by the crowd, who warmly embraced the Croatian boxer and made it clear through their support that fighters like Goricki are more than welcome on the world stage.
