
GONZALES WINS IN U.S. DEBUT, JULATON-MENDEZ A DRAW

Featherweight Glenn ?Rapid Fire? Gonzales has won in his U.S. debut, scoring a six round unanimous decision over journeyman Robert ?Don?t Lose? DaLuz of New York at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The talented 22 year old southpaw, who is a fighter of Vice Governor Manny Pinol and the Braveheart Boxing Club, continued his unbeaten streak moving up to 7-0-1 with 4 knockouts.
He is trained by Pinol?s brother, Noli Pinol and is the reigning WBA Asia Pacific featherweight champion.
DaLuz dropped to 11-12-2 with 9 knockouts.
In a female super bantam weight bout, the much talked about Ana ?The Hurricane? Julaton was held to a draw by Johana Mendez of Houston also in a six round bout on the undercard of Bob Arum?s Top Rank promotion.
