Undefeated Brooklyn heavyweight Pryce Taylor Improves to 10-0 to end 2025 on a roll

NEW YORK CITY (December 23, 2025) – Brooklyn’s undefeated Pryce Taylor (10-0, 6 KOs) showcased his all-around skills last Saturday night in Detroit in his fifth and final fight of 2025, pitching a near shutout for a one-sided 8-round unanimous decision (80-72, 80-72, 79-73) over veteran heavyweight Michael Polite Coffie (13-5, 10 KOs).

Considered by many as one of the most promising American heavyweights today, Taylor demonstrated his vast improvement on the live DAZN steam from Fox Theater, which was presented by Taylor’s promoter, Salita Promotions.

Sullivan Management has moved the 6-foot-4, 279-pound Taylor rapidly, scheduling five bouts this year – excluding 2 other fights due to his opponents falling out late -- and ten over his two-year professional boxing career.

“I needed those five fights this year,” Taylor welcomed his accelerated pace. “I need more (in 2026) because it’s a slow process. I’m where I’m supposed to be right now, No. 15 (heavyweight in the U.S. according to Boxrec.com, the official record keeper of boxing).

“I give myself a B+ for this fight. I was satisfied with the result, but I’m always looking to improve and get better. I’ve always been able to adjust to what my opponents bring into the ring. I can punch and box, it doesn’t matter. If I watched film of my opponent from 3 years ago, obviously, he has changed. It doesn’t make sense for me to do that, so I adjust during the fight. My opponent was trying to get me out and get a big win; he’s a gatekeeper. I worked on boxing early; then I started landing some good shots, but he wasn’t falling. I knew I could win on points.”

“Ten wins is a milestone but it’s only the foundation,” noted Taylor’s manager Atty. Keith Sullivan. “Pryce Taylor has done everything we’ve asked of him: discipline, consistency, and growth in every fight. 2026 is about stepping onto bigger stages, bigger names, and showing the sport who he is.”

The 29-year-old Taylor is pleased with his first 10 pro fights and he’s looking for continued development in 2026.

“I’ve dominated every round so far,” Taylor concluded, “whether I won by knockout or decision. I’m going to work hard to get in even better shape to go a full 10 rounds. Maybe in my next fight I’ll fight for a title. I’ll be preparing every day for my future.”

Sullivan, a former New York State Athletic Commission Deputy Commissioner, also manages 3-time, 2-division World Champion Miyo Yoshida (18-5), Bronx NYPD officer Nisa Rodriguez (3-1, 1 KO), and junior featherweight prospect Brooklyn “The Big Deal” Barwick (4-0, 4 KOs). Sullivan also co-manages IBF Welterweight World title challenger Paddy “The Real Deal” Donovan (14-2, 11 KOs) and his cousin, middleweight Jim Donovan (2-0, 1 KO), alongside coach and ex-world champion Andy Lee.
