
Villarosa to fight Antaran on Dec. 18 in Bucana

UNDEFEATED Claire Villarosa of Compostela, Davao de Oro will fight veteran Mark Glen Antaran of Malungon, Sarangani on December 18 at Bucana in Davao City.
Villarosa [5-0-1, 3KOs] recently stopped John Rey Labajo in the 2nd round to win the vacant Philippine Youth super flyweight title last October 26 at San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.
Villarosa, who started boxing last year fought Cristian Dave Presores by a unanimous decision last July 26, 2024 at Calinan Gym in Calinan, Davao City.
Villarosa beat Noven Nasara by a UD last February 9 in Kidapawan City.
He then scored a technical knockout against Ruel Hababag in the 1st round last June 8 at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
Villarosa continued his winning form by knocking out Briel Ozaraga in the 2nd round last July 11 at the Venue 88 in General Santos City.
In his fourth fight, Villarosa settled a majority draw with John Rey Labajo for the vacant Philippine Youth super flyweight title in an 8-rounder last August 31 at Phela Grande in Gensan.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Antaran had a total of 24 fights already.
In his last fight, Antaran lost by a unanimous decision to Jerame Patac last October 7 at Rosario Gym in Rosario.
Antaran earlier won against Revjun Arguita by a 1st round last February 9 in Kidapawan.

The boxing event is in coordination with Top Five and SK of Barangay 76-A Bucana.
