Filipino Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr. couldn't get anything out of a win and drew with GM Keith Arkell of England to stay in second place after five rounds of the III Internacional de Ajedrez Cap Negret Chess Championship 50 and above category on Wednesday at the Hotel Cap Negret, Altea, Alicante, Spain.
Arkell remains on top with 4.5 points, half point ahead of Antonio and Ricardo Mascarell Canet of Spain who totes 4.0 points a piece.
Canet defeated Ronald Koehler of Germany.
FIDE Master Thorsten Cmiel of Germany drew with Javier Unciti Juan of Spain to lead the huge group of 3.5 pointers.
In the sixth round, Arkell will meet Canet while Cmiel opposes Antonio.
