NBA announces the new format to All Star Game

The NBA has announced its new format for the 2025-2026 All-Star Game between the United States and the Rest of the World, to be held on February 15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Two teams of American players and one international or World Team will compete in a round-robin tournament with four 12-minute quarters.
Each team will have a minimum of eight players, and as in previous years, 24 players will be selected for the NBA All-Star Game, 12 from each conference.
The five starters from each conference will be chosen by fans (50 percent of the vote), current NBA players (25 percent), and media (25 percent), while the seven reserves will be selected by the head coaches.
Position will not be a factor in the All-Star selection, and according to the NBA, the process for assigning players to the two American teams will be determined at a later date.
