The IIEE Northern Cotabato team, led by team captain Aneano Bejec Jr. and featuring players Richard James Mendoza, Reinheart Pillo, Randy Belarmino, and Irenio Butigan, stamped its class by capturing the National Championship crown with an 8-0 clean slate. This perfect run began in the inter-island qualifier and ended with the championship victory on September 13 in Koten, Pasay City. This team, from Kidapawan, was the first to qualify from the Visayas-Mindanao leg after ruling the Southern Mindanao regional elimination last October 2024.

In the 3x3 chess tournament, the trio of Randy Turreda, Ronald Donasco, and Evaristo Tizon captured the overall championship with a sweep of their matches during the IIEE National Championship. They were the second and final qualifier from the inter-island Luzon leg, representing the IIEE Metro National Region as the regional champions from November 2024.

Both the basketball and chess tournaments consisted of a grueling 30 games each, with exhibition games held in between. Kenji Ting beat influencer vlogger Hamtime in a one-on-one match with a score of 10-9. Thirteen-time Philippine champion GM Joey Antonio won the 3-point shootout, besting 2022 former national president Jojo Padua, IIEE Titans shooters Raffy Alas, Amil Asakil, Eric Salinding, and Mr. Long Bomb. The duo of Padua and Mr. Long Bomb, with numerous 3-point shots from near the center court, defeated the pair of Hamtime and Kenji with a score of 30-27.

The IIEE Golden Sports Committee defeated the BOG with balanced scoring from Andrew Velasco (20 pts), Ricky Salon (18), Richard De Borja (15), and Mike Mendoza (12). The BOG's effort was supported by Kenji, who drilled five 3-point shots.

The tournament was organized by IIEE Golden Sports Chairman Andy Lim, Vice Chairman Ervin Fernandez, and Adviser FPres Allan Alvarez. The chess arbiters were NM Marlon Bernardino and Ferdie Reyes Sr.
