PHILADELPHIA (JUNE 17, 2025)--On Friday night, June 27th, undefeated super featherweight Julian Gonzalez takes on veteran Jason Sanchez in the eighth-round main event at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.
The nine-bout card is promoted by King's Promotions.
Gonzalez, 23 of Reading, PA has a record of 16-0-1 with 12 knockouts. The 23-year-old is a four-year professional and has wins over Ivan Jimenez (7-1-1), Rosalindo Morales (9-0), Johnny Spell (8-0) and his last bout when he took Armando Frausto in one round on March 14th in Bethlehem, PA.
The battle-tested Sanchez has a record of 16-6 with nine knockouts. The 30-year-old Albuquerque, New Mexico native is a 13-year pro, He has wins over Gene Perez (1-0), Jean Carlos Perez (15-0). On June 8, 2019, Sanchez challenged WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez. Sanchez gave a tremendous effort in losing a 12-round decision. In his most recent outing, Sanchez dropped a decision to Jordan White on August 3, 2024 in Washington, DC.
In an eight-round bout, WBA number-two ranked bantamweight Brittany Sims (8-3, 5 KOs) of Salem, Oregon takes on Marcela Nieto of El Bagre, Colombia (6-4-1, 5 KOs).
Quadir Albright (12-1, 12 KOs) of Philadelphia takes on an opponent to be named in a eight-round welterweight bout.

Edwine Humane Junior (9-1, 7 KOs) of Springfield, Massachusetts takes on Alejandro Munera (8-9-4, 7 KOs) of Medellin, Colombia in a super welterweight affair.

Brendan O'Callaghan (6-4-1, 2 KOs) of Philadelphia fights Jonathan Gray (2-3) of Oklahoma City in a middleweight scrap.
Deatwon Young Garrett (1-0, 1 KO) of York, PA fights debuting Carlos Avelar of Watertown, Connecticut in a welterweight fight.
Alexsandr Dokvadze of Rustavi, Georgia Republic will make his pro debut against Mike Diorio (1-13-2) of Cortland, New York in a light heavyweight battle.
