
Certeza Leads Antipolo Speedcubing Winners

Villaseran Sisters Shine with Double Podium Finish
Prodigy James Certeza showed the way in the Antipolo Speedcubing Championships annexing the title in the 2x2x2 event while Cielo Beatriz Villaseran and Anne Gwyneth Villaseran impressed by claiming podium finishes in their main events Skewb and Clock respectively.
Certeza towed with him in the 2x2x2 podium household names Brenton Wong and Juan Miguel Magallanes who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Cielo Beatriz Villaseran finished a fighting 3rd in the Skewb event with Hui Chun Pong of Hong Kong and Javier Ignacio winning gold and silver.
Anne Gwyneth Villaseran on the other hand got her 1st podium by turning the 3rd best time in the clock event behind Asian record holders Zian Principe and Zoei Principe.
National champion, Brenton Wong, bested the field in the 3x3x3 with Janssen Alvarez and Javier Ignacio claiming 2nd and 3rd places.
Janssen Alvarez ruled his pet event the Pyramid with Certeza turning in an impressive 2nd place and Hui Chun Pong getting the bronze.
The event was successfully organized by birthday boy and national Skewb record holder Ivan Cariaga.-Marlon Bernardino-
