CHARITY BOXING EVENT SET TO FEATURE A SLATE OF TALENTED SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PROFESSIONALS
Televised Live on DAZN | Thursday, May 22, 2025 | Avalon Hollywood
LOS ANGELES (May 8, 2025) — Three additional matchups featuring up and comers from the Southern California area have been added to the "Championing Mental Health: A Night of Boxing" special charity showcase at the Avalon Hollywood on Thursday, May 22, 2025. The event, which is being promoted by 555 Media in coordination with Bash Boxing, is dedicated to mental health awareness in the sport and all athletes participating will receive one year of free access to therapy through Athletes for Hope.
The night of action will be broadcast live on DAZN at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and features talented boxers from the Southern California area including Jonny "Magic" Mansour (4-0, 2 KOs), Ricardo Ruvalcaba (13-0-1, 10 KOs), Jessie Mandapat (9-1-1, 5 KOs) and Vic Pasillas (17-1, 10 KOs).
The three newly announced bouts include a 4-round lightweight affair between Avetis Gadyan (1-0, 1 KO) and Jaycee King (0-3), a 4-round women’s bantamweight scrap between Ivy Enriquez (2-0) and Marlen Avila (0-2) and lastly, a 6-round tilt between Brook Sibrian (6-2, 3 KOs) and Rubi Gutierrez (5-1-1) in the women’s light flyweight division.
Gadyan, a Glendale native and former amateur standout, looks to build off his explosive debut performance as he takes on the durable King, who is hungry for his first professional victory.
In women’s bantamweight action, San Fernando’s Enriquez will continue her fast-rising campaign as she faces Riverside’s Avila in a clash of Southern California rivals.
Sibrian, one of the most battle-tested prospects in the women’s light flyweight division, faces a tough challenge in Gutierrez, whose lone loss came by razor-thin decision.
Tickets are on sale now and available at www.555media.com/tickets. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for mental wellness initiatives supporting boxers and the boxing community and takes place in collaboration with Athletes for Hope and the World Boxing Council (WBC).
