BANGKOK, Thailand — Fans are ready for thrilling action as six Filipino boxers take center stage in the exciting Highland Boxing Promotions show on Thursday, April 24, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The entire 15-fight card will be streamed live and free on Highland Boxing's YouTube channel, starting at 4 pm Philippine time.
The Pinoy Contenders:
👉 Unbeaten world-ranked Filipina super flyweight Wenie Cline "La Amazona" Verano (12-0, 8 KOs) of Cagayan de Oro faces tough warrior Oomsin Sohsit of Thailand in a 4-round battle.
👉 Strong-looking Renato Cha (2-1-2, 2 KOs), wearing red trunks, takes on Chonlatee Chayamangkakul in a non-title featherweight clash.
👉 Hard-punching minimumweight Renden Oppas (3-1, 3 KOs) of Baguio battles Wachirawit Sanpakorn in a 6-round war.
👉 Super lightweight MJ "Young Gun" Uduna (9-3-2, 5 KOs) of Benguet faces British newcomer Harvey Hickey (1-0) in a 6-chapter bout.
👉 Cebuano Super Welter Elmo Traya (14-5, 9 KOs) of Mandaue collides against seasoned Sitthidet Banti (13-7) in a 6-round clash.
👉 Veteran Super Lightweight Eduardo Mancito (21-17-2, 10 KOs) of Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, takes on former German National Champ Fatih Duebues (12-3, 9 KOs) in a 6-chapter war.
The Main Event
The highlight of the card features veteran Japanese samurai Toshihiko Era (25-4, 20 KOs) battling unbeaten taller Thai prospect Jirakit Jaruratthanachai (6-0, 5 KOs) for the vacant WBF International Flyweight Title, also valid for the ABF and PAT 112-pound belts.
