UNDEFEATED Wenie Cline Verano of Valencia City will fight Miss Domsin Sohsit of Thailand in “Clash in Nations” on April 24 at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Verano, who arrived in Bangkok on Sunday, April 20, will have a light training session today at the Highlands Gym.

“I'm training tomorrow but it's only light training because the fight is near already,” said the 31-year-old Verano upon her arrival.

Verano, who has a new manager Noy Pacing Flores, has been training for nine months in Cebu City.

“I sparred with the boys already,” said Verano [12-0-0, 8KOs].

In her last fight, Verano scored a unanimous decision win over Kullathida Kueasanor of Thailand to retain the WBC Asian flyweight title last April 8, 2024 in Valencia City.

“I will do my best and thank sir Garry Connolly and Brico Santig for the opportunity they have given me to come back and play,” said Verano.

The boxing event is brought by Highland Boxing and Narish Boxing Promotion.
