Fight night is just around the corner as Jaron "Boots" Ennis and Eimantas Stanionis successfully made weight ahead of their highly anticipated welterweight unification bout. The IBF, WBA, and Ring Magazine Welterweight titles will be on the line this Saturday in a clash that promises fireworks.
Ennis, fighting out of Philadelphia, stepped onto the scales at a trim 146.4lbs, looking focused and ready for the biggest fight of his career. His opponent, the undefeated Lithuanian powerhouse Eimantas Stanionis, weighed in slightly heavier at 146.8lbs, also appearing confident and determined to leave with all the belts.
The electric atmosphere of the weigh-in suggests a thrilling encounter is in store for fight fans. This main event is set to be broadcast live on DAZN, with the main card action kicking off at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
Before the main event, a stacked undercard also saw its participants make weight. The "Before The Bell" portion, starting at 5:25 PM ET, will feature a six-round lightweight contest between Francisco Rodriguez (135lbs) of Atlantic City and Naheem Parker (136lbs) from Camden. Following that, Arturo Cardenas (123.2lbs) of Mexico will face Edgar Joe Cortes (123.6lbs) of Millville in an eight-round super bantamweight matchup. Philadelphia's Tahmir Smalls (147.8lbs) will then square off against Earl Bascome (148.6lbs) of Bermuda in an eight-round welterweight contest, and Zaquin Moses (128.8lbs) of Newark will battle Alex Pallette (129.8lbs) of Puerto Rico in a four-round super featherweight bout.
The DAZN main card will also feature exciting matchups, including a ten-round welterweight contest between Uzbekistan's Shakhram Giyasov (149lbs) and Argentina's Franco Ocampo (153lbs). Orlando's Omari Jones (149.6lbs) will face Cincinnati's William Jackson (150lbs) in a six-round welterweight fight. In a super featherweight title bout, Camden's own Raymond Ford (130lbs) will defend his WBA Continental North America title against Thomas Mattice (129.6lbs) of Cleveland in a ten-round affair.
