SOUTHPAW Dennis “Machine Gun” Endar of Glan, Sarangani will fight dangerous Jahzeel “The Technician” Trinidad of Puerto Princesa, Palawan for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation flyweight title on March 9 at Calinan Gym in Calinan, Davao City.

The 24-year-old Endar, who is based in Davao City, recently stopped Rustom Sario of Cotabato in the 1st round last December 21 in Calinan.

Endar, however, suffered a loss and settled a majority draw also last year.

He lost by a technical knockout to Albert Francisco of Zamboanga City in the 8th round last April 12, 2024 in Malate, Manila.
Endar then settled a majority draw with Longyi Hu of China last August 3 at Hoiana Resort in Quangnam, China.

The 27-year-old Trinidad, on the other hand, beat Christian Gagarin of Paranaque by a unanimous decision last December 7 at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.

Trinidad, however, tasted his first loss in his debut outside the country to Japanese Shokichi Iwata by a 6th round TKO last July 6, 2024 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Trinidad, who is an orthodox, has won 12 fights with six knockouts while Endar has seven wins with six knockouts but with two loses and two draws.

The 10-round title-fight is promoted by Firmo Aligato of Ring Master Boxing Promotion with Rodel Garde as the matchmaker.
