JOHN Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero of Ormoc City will fight against Saul “The Beast” Sanchez of USA on October 13, Sunday, at the Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Japan.

It will be the second fight in Japan of the 35-year-old Casimero [33-4-1, 22KOs]. His first ended in a technical draw against Yukinori Oguni last October 12, 2023 at the Ariake Arena in Koto-Ku.

Casimero earlier won by a unanimous decision against Fillipus Nghitumbwa of Namibia to win the WBO Global super bantamweight title last May 13, 2023 at the Okada Manila Hotel in Paranaque City.

Sanchez [21-3-0, 12KOs], on the other hand, recently beat Arthur Villanueva last July 12, 2024 in Atlanta. He earlier lost in a world title fight when he challenged Jason Moloney of Australia for the WBO World bantamweight title last January 13, 2024 in Quebec City.

Masayuki Ito of TB Promotion is the promoter.
