The RP Blu Girls U18 team is prepared to give it their all in their upcoming battles at the 2024 U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage. The long-awaited tournament match will be played at The Village Dallas from 29 August to 2 September, over Labor Day weekend in the US.

Jean Henri Lhuillier, President of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier, is elated with the thought of the girl’s participation in the world stage. "The RP Blu Girls are a different kind of breed, and I am confident that they will bring excellence and pride to the Philippines as they strive to pursue greatness on the world stage.”

The RP Blu Girls are set to compete against world-class teams, including World No. 1 USA, World No. 5 Australia, World No. 7 Canada, World No. 10 Mexico, and World No. 21 Ireland, all of whom are grouped together in Group C.

The RP Blu Girls will kick off their World Cup campaign with a challenging four-day, 15-game round-robin against elite teams in Group C. Their journey begins with a pivotal match against Team Australia on August 29, as they aim to secure a spot in the Finals set for 2025.-Marlon Bernardino-
