
Naris Singwancha Visits Filipino Boxers at Bangkok's Highland Boxing Gym

BANGKOK, Thailand  –  In a much appreciated gesture, Thailand's elder boxing patron Mr. Naris Singwancha - an old-time friend and supporter of Filipino boxing -  visited Pinoy and Highland fighters today at the popular Highland Boxing Gym in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.  
Singwancha shared time with the young boxers, talking to them about their lives and their boxing careers, welcoming them to Thailand, while encouraging them to continue with passion in pursue of their dreams.   
The elder Thai gentleman not only talked to the Filipino boxers, but also to other Highland boxers from different nationalities who daily train at Bangkok's Highland Boxing Gym.
A businessman since a young age, Singwancha is a philanthropist and the president of the Singwancha Foundation, which supports boxing and helps retired Thai boxing champions in financial troubles.   
He also holds a high post at Thailand's Sports Authority, and is a successful real estate developer, owner of various resorts in the Kingdom of Thailand. 
Singwancha's love for boxing has been much appreciated for years, as well as his support for Filipino boxing.   In fact, Singwancha shares a long-standing friendship with various members of the Filipino boxing family, and is a good old friend of former GAB Chairman Juan Ramon "Monchu" Guanzon.
In addition, Singwancha is the Founder and President of the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF), a boxing body that sanctions regional title fights all over Asia.  
Filipinos Brico Santig (owner of the Highland Boxing Gym), Highland Gym head coach Frank Jaro, trainer Jomar Fajardo, together with Pinoy boxers and fighters of other nationalities, expressed their appreciation for the visit from the famous Thai gentleman; and this Philboxing photo was taken to record the friendly moment.
