RP Blu Girls to Battle it Out in the Canada Cup International Softball Championship

Manila---The RP Blu Girls, led by head coach Ana Santiago, are set to compete in the Canada Cup International Softball Championship from July 1 to 7 in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

This prestigious tournament will see the Cebuana Lhuillier-backed RP Blu Girls go head-to-head against the other 12 teams from around the world, including Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Czechia, Greece, Hong Kong, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, TC Colorado, Saskatchewan 222’s and team Ukraine. With a line-up of such strong competitors, the stage is set for a thrilling display of softball prowess from the Blu Girls.

Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) President Jean Henri Lhuillier expressed his excitement for the upcoming tournament, highlighting the team's journey and growth. “I am incredibly excited to see the girls in action. I’ve watched them grow their skills and talents to the best of their ability, and I have no doubt they will make us proud again”. The RP Blu Girls is set to step up to the plate on July 1, 6 pm CAD time (July 2 , 6 am PH time) against host Team Canada.-Marlon Bernardino-
