MPBF SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ON ?THE MAIN EVENT?

The Mindanao Professional Boxing Federation super bantamweight championship bout between promising Pol Apolinario and Erwin Jumlan will be featured on the top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. over IBC 13.
The fight was part of an exciting card held at the Maasim Municipal Gymnasium in the picturesque province of Sarangani in which thousands watched the action on a giant screen outside the venue provided by Mayor Jojo Lopez, a diehard boxing fan with a stable of talented young fighters.
Sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum and supported by PAGCOR, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation the venue was jampacked.
In a supporting bout on the Viva Sports show, Rey Labao makes a comeback after an eighteen month layoff against tough Anthony Rosal.
?The Main Event? also includes an interview with the trio of local government officials working closely together to guarantee progress and peace in Sarangani ? youthful Governor Migs Dominguez, Vice governor Steve Solon and Mayor Lopez.
