
Cagayan ready to host PCAP Champions League

Manila---Who's ready for the Battle of Wits and Mind-boggling chess games!
The Cagayan Kings Team officials have confirmed their readiness to host the upcoming 9th Leg of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Champions League.
According to Cagayan Kings Team spokesman Laurence "Larry" Dumadag, chess events in Cagayan will be held at SM City in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on May 19, 2024.
"The long-awaited moment has arrived. The Cagayan Kings Team is happy to announce that we will be hosting the 9th Leg of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Champions League. This prestigious event will take place at SM City in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on May 19, 2024," said Dumadag.
"Following the success of the recently concluded 8th Leg of the PCAP Champions League in Naga City, Camarines Sur this April 2024, the Cagayan Kings team is determined to continue promoting the game of chess, PCAP, and discovering local talents," he added.
"The champion of this leg will have the opportunity to participate in the search for homegrown players and compete in the highly anticipated Battle of Champions in Manila," last word of Dumadag.-Marlon Bernardino-
