BANGKOK, Thailand — In a close, hard-fought battle, Baguio fighting girl, former world title challenger Jesebelle Pagaduan (13-1, 5 KO’s), came back to ring action, narrowly edging younger and taller Panumad Bubpamalo, 21, of Thailand.

Their non-title four-rounder war in the flyweight division could not have been closer, the two women visibly given their very best.

There were no knockdowns, but there were lots of spirited action; and it surely was one of the most entertaining fights of the evening.

With the win, Jesebelle looks forward to more fights, guided by experience coach Rene Bañares.
