The Philippines Roberto Dalisay who has twice as many defeats as victories according to boxrec.com has lost a twelve round split decision to IBO Asia Pacific super featherweight champion Simson Butar Butar who carries the monicker ?The Terminator.?

The fight was held at the Trans 7 Studio in Jakarta and with the win Simson Butar Butar improved his record to 19-8-1 with 14 knockouts while Dalisay dropped to 10-23-3 with 10 knockouts. In fact the Filipino was coming off a ten round unanimous decision loss to Balweg Bangoyan last April 20 after suffering a seventh round TKO at the hands of Sonny Gonzales on December 7, 2007 and a seventh round knockout against Thailand?s Fahsai Sakkreerin last September 5.

Dalisay had previously lost four of his last five fights and the surprise was how he was allowed to fight for the IBO regional belt against Simson Butar Butar who won the vacant title with a second round knockout of Filipino Van Bantilan last December 1.

Butar Butar had also battled Fahsai Sakkreerin and lost by a unanimous decision in an IBF Pan Pacific featherweight title fight on March 14 this year.
