
IIEE captures the team and individual championships in PTC WED Fun Shoot

The 1-day Fun shoot of the Philippine Technological Council World Engineering Day Shooting tournament was held on March 17, 2024 at the shooting range of Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. Commodore Marcos Imperio, PN was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the opening ceremony.
The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) emerged as team Champion with Sonny Banaag, Francis Sumague, Benson Alam, Reneboy Lachica and Marvin Valmonte. IIEE also placed as Champion individual and runner up with Francis Suamague and Jeffrey Arcalas, respectively besting more than 35 shooters from different engineering professional organizations.
In basketball's Millennials division, IIEE beat Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) 96-85 and Society of Aerospace Engineers of the Philippines (SAEP) won PSME 109-89. IIEE and SAEP will dispute the championship on March 24, 2024 while PSME and IECEP will battle for 3rd place on March 23, 2024
In Gen X division, IIEE drubbed Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) 107-83 for its 3rd win in a row while dealt the latter for its 4th defeats eliminating them. IIEE and IECEP will battle on March 23 (non-bearing match) and championship on March 24.-Marlon Bernardino-
