Jean Henri Lhuillier Lauds Cebuana Lhuillier Softball Team for Winning the Pangaea Cup International Slo Pitch Tournament

In a dominating performance by the Cebuana Lhuillier Softball Team, the RP Blu Boys emerged victorious once again, defending their title in the Men's Super Division of the Pangaea Cup International Slo Pitch Tournament. The competition, held at the Villages in Clark Field, Pampanga from March 8 to 10, 2024, showcased the strength and talent of different teams across different nationalities, but it was Cebuana Lhuillier that reigned supreme.

The Cebuana Lhuillier-backed team was able to eclipse all the other teams in the tournament without losing a single match. The RP Blu boys were able to assert themselves as the best in the tournament with the following records; CL 10 vs Korea Guzzlers 4, CL 10 vs Taiwan Wolves 6, CL 14 vs Saigon Buffalo 6, CL 11 vs Shanghai Stepdads 6, CL 18 vs Taguig Generals 1, Semis CL 13 vs Japan Ole Dogs 1 and for the last match of the tournament, Super Division Finals CL 12 vs USA Fattboyz Worldwide 6.

Reflecting on the team's success, Cebuana Lhuillier President Jean Henri Lhuillier conveyed his joy for the team's accomplishments, emphasizing the significance of their victory and the dedication they exhibited throughout the tournament. “This goes to show that once talent is fostered with hard work, no goal is impossible to achieve. Their resounding triumph at the Pangaea Cup is a true testament to their dedication to the game.”
Amidst the thrilling matches and standout performances, special recognition is due to RP Blu Boys Head Coach Jasper Cabrera, who was named the MVP of the Men's Super Division. His leadership and contributions were instrumental in guiding Cebuana Lhuillier to yet another triumphant campaign.-Marlon Bernardino-
