Cebuana Lhuillier Men’s Tennis Team to compete in Penang International Tournament

The Cebuana Lhuillier Tennis Team, fresh from its victory in last year’s PCA Interclub Team Event is set to compete in the Penang Sports Club International Invitational Tournament on February 23 -25, 2024 in Penang, Malaysia.

The tournament is Men’s Doubles 40, 50, and 60 years above. Twenty-Four teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, and the Philippines are seeing action in the 6-year-old event.

The Cebuana Lhuillier team is composed of Jean Henri Lhuillier, Derrick Santos, Gilbert Estrada, Jackie Tomacruz, Henry Escalante, Adelo Ruado, Joseph Arcilla, Toto Joven, Jonjon Lim, and Gerard Maronilla as team captain.

Jean Henri Lhuillier, the President of UTP, expressed his confidence in the team's abilities, stating, "We have trained hard and we are determined to give our best and win so we can make our mark in the Penang International Tournament."
The team is sponsored by Cebuana Lhuillier, Lihim Resort, UNWND Hotel and WYP Bar. Smilee Apparel proudly outfits the team as its official uniform provider, continuing their partnership after sponsoring the UTP National Tennis Team in two successful international tournaments held in Penang and Perlis last year.-Marlon Bernardino-
