Other invited masters are IMs Angelo Young and Domingo Ramos, FMs Carlos Edgardo Garma and Adrian Ros Pacis and NMs Edmundo Gatus, Romeo Alcodia, Carlo Lorena, Homer Cunanan and youthful Oscar Joseph Cantela.

Tournament director is NM Marlon Bernardino.

The champion will win a cash prize of P10,000, while the runner-up will receive P5,500. The third placer will take home P4,500, as the fourth and fifth placers will each pocket P4,000 and P3,000, respectively. Sixth to 12th placer will pocket P2,500 each.
