
Chess tourney set in Sual, Pangasinan on Saturday

The Sual Open Chess Tournament is slated on Saturday, December 23 at the Kucina Karena Grill and Restobar in Sual, Pangasinan.
It is a seven round Swiss system format according to Woodpushers Chess Club-Sual Inc. president Beneric Ronas.
The champion will earn P15,000. The second placer will get P10,000, third P5,000, fourth P3,000 and fifth P2,000 while the sixth to tenth will receive P1,000 each.
The best female, best senior, best PWD and best Sual player will receive P1,000 each.
For Junior and Senior High school category, champion will receive P3,000, second will get P2,000, third will get P1,000 and fourth to fifth will likewise earn P500 each.
For the Elementary category, champion will bring home P3,000, second will get P2,000, third will get P1,000 and fourth to fifth will likewise earn P500 each.
