Rapid chessfest goes to Araneta Center, Cubao

THE Rapid Chess Championships swings to Araneta Center, Cubao this month with a huge turnout expected.

Organizers of the rapid tournament NCFP board of director Martin "Binky" Gaticales search brace for another banner field entitled Dear Lolo & Lola & Apo Chess players will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Araneta Center, Farmers Plaza in Cubao, Quezon City.

A fierce battle looms in two divisions, 40 years old above & 15 years below and Special players (Limited Slots Only) with Cash prizes, Gift Certificate and Araneta City Certificates is at stakes in the said chessfest which aims to promote chess in the grass roots level and discover future chess talents.

Registration at Farmers Plaza Onsite, NCFP Director Martin Gaticales FB, Viber and or 09998851432.

Requirements is bring valid ID & Bring Farmers Plaza Food/Item purchased receipt.

The Tournament Format is 7 Rounds 15 minutes plus 3 Seconds Increment.

The champion will win a cash prize of P7,000, while the runner-up will receive P4,000. The third placer will take home P3,000 as the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh placers will each pocket P2,000, P1,500, P1,500 and P1,000 respectively.

Special recognition with Gift check for the Top Senior, Top Apo, Top Women, Special Guest and Early new NCFP Members.
