Promoter Bob Arum?s Top Rank is ordering a large quantity of the special series of stamps issued by the Philippine Postal Service honoring Filipino national treasure Manny Pacquiao.

The people handling the publicity and promotions of Pacquiao?s ?Lethal Combination? showdown against World Boxing Council lightweight champion David Diaz made the announcement about Top Rank ordering a large quantity of the historic stamps which are the first honoring a Filipino athlete.

The story along with photos of the stamps and details of the special issue for collectors in a special folder was carried by Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today as well as the widely-read philboxing.com website and prompted the Top Rank initiative.

In fact the publicity and promotions group handling the Pacquiao-Diaz fight circulated the story as well as the photos of the stamps to scores of boxing writers.

With the amazing popularity of Pacquiao among Filipinos at home and among Filipinos and Fil-Americans across the United State as well as Mexicans and other fight fans, the stamps are certain to be a big hit.
