Donreil Marcos battles Roel Laguna for the Philippines super bantamweight title in Maasim, Sarangani on June 14 in an exciting fight card presented by Mayor Jojo Lopez, a diehard boxing fan, in association with well-known promoter Sammy Gello-ani and Viva Sports.

Marcos who belongs to the emerging Black Scorpion Boxing Gym in Lanao del Norte has a record of 9-1 with 1 knockout while Laguna who is from the stable of Rex ?Wakee? Salud boasts of an 8-2-1, 5 knockouts slate.

The June 14 card will be headlined by a WBO Oriental flyweight championship bout between the Philippines top-rated Richie Mepranum who takes on undefeated African Juma Seleman Fundi.

A third title fight on the card will feature promising John Mark Apolinario taking on veteran Nino Suelo in a Philippine Boxing Federation super flyweight title belt.

The Mepranum-Fundi WBO Oriental title bout will be telecast the following day (Sunday) on the top rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? at 9:00 p.m. over IBC 13 sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum and supported by Pagcor, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
