CONDES TRAINING FEATURE ON ?THE MAIN EVENT?

Viva Sports top-rated weekly boxing show ?The Main Event? will have an extended feature on the training of IBF minimum weight champion Florante Condes at the famed ALA Gym of respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer in Cebu City.

The show which is telecast at 9:00 p.m. on Sundays over IBC 13 is sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum and PAGCOR, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation and is replayed over the cable station Viva Prime which is also carried by Destiny Cable.

The feature is highlighted by exclusive footage of Condes jogging before the break of dawn, working the punch-mitts with trainer Danny Bactol, shadow boxing etc.

The feature will also include an interview with Condes as he discusses his upcoming first title defense against mandatory challenger, undefeated Raul ?Rayito? Garcia of Mexico on June 14.

The show includes interviews with trainer Bactol as well as well known promoter Sammy Gello-ani who has taken care of Condes who lives in Gello-ani?s home in Cebu.

The show will also feature an exciting bout between veteran Pedro Malco and undefeated Eric Macas, one of the promising young fighters from the south.

On next week?s show boxing fans will get an insight into the opponent of AJ ?Bazooka? Banal ? Rafael Concepcion of Panama whom Banal will face in his battle for the WBA junior bantamweight title tentatively scheduled for July 19.
