
Cutiyog set her goal to the highest level

AFTER a fruitful campaign, Jirah Floravie Cutiyog, has set her goal to the highest level, to make it to the 21st ASEAN+ Age Group Chess Championships 2023 to be held on June 17 to 27 at Asia Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
"I hope to do well in the National Finals set next month in Dipolog City," said Cutiyog, a Grade 8 pupil of Bethel Academy.
The General Trias City bet finished unbeaten with 5.5 points on four victories and three draws to capture the runner-up place at the conclusion of the U-14 Girls division of the Vice Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino National Age Group Chess Championships Eliminations at the Tagaytay International Convention Center on Sunday, March 5.
Cutiyog will lead the cast in the grand finals slated on April 2 to 10 in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.
The winner in the grand finals will represent the country in the upcoming 21st ASEAN+ Age Group Chess Championships 2023.-Marlon Bernardino-
