MANILA---PH chess wizards Antonella Berthe Racasa will showcase her talent in the Antipolo Youth Chess Club Rapid Chess Tournament on October 8 at the Walter Mart Antipolo City.

"I hope to do well in this prestigious event," said former Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) awardee Racasa who is also set to represent the City of Mandaluyong in the upcoming 2022 Batang Pinoy to be held on December 4-10 in Vigan City, Province of Ilocos Sur.

Filipino and United States chess master Jose Aquino had something to say about the Antipolo Youth Chess Club Rapid Chess Tournament: “The goal of the event is to help our young chess players here in Antipolo City in particular, and also in the Philippines in general. We want them to become globally competitive not just in this sport but also in their daily lives.”
