MPCL partners with Buena Viel Construction

MANILA---The Maharlika Pilipinas Chess League (MPCL) announced on Monday a long-term partnership with Buena Viel Construction.
The newly-formed alliance will see the fast-rising chess league teaming up with the Buena Viel Construction, OPC specializes in Architectural Design, General Construction & Engineering, Project Management, Consultancy, Analysis, Soil Testing, STP, Permits, Land Survey & Development as part of the latter's continuous support to athletes.
"We are committed to sponsoring this MPCL," said Buena Viel Construction top honcho engr. Jojo Buenaventura.
"We are inviting all chess aficionados to the upcoming Biggest Chess Event in Bicol Region," added engr. Buenaventura, who is also the team owner of PCAP's Camarines Soaring Eagle.
"This is just the beginning of a strong and long partnership between the MPCL and Buena Viel Construction . We all know that Buena Viel Construction has been helping in sports development. Helping us is their way of helping a very successful business venture for me," said MPCL top official International Master Hamed Nouri.
"I'm very happy that Buena Viel Construction has recognized the Maharlika Pilipinas Chess League as a solid league with a bright future ahead of it," he added.
MPCL has become an avenue for then-unknown players to showcase their talents on a wider audience through the arena crowd and on national competition.
The MPCL (Maharlika Pilipinas Chess League) presents "Manny Pacquiao & Buena Viel Construction Chess Cup" that will be held on November 5 & 6, 2022 at the Queen City of Bicol, Naga City.
The team tournament offers P100,000 plus trophy and medals to the champion, P50,000 plus trophy and medals to the runner-up, P30,000 plus trophy and medals to the third-placer and P20,000 to the fourth placer.
Fifth to 10th placer will earn P10,000, P8,000, P7,000, P6,000, P5,000 and P4,000, respectively.
Top Bicol, meantime will likewise to receive P5,000.
There will be also blitz tournament and youth 16 under bracket.
