Masskara Festival National Inter Provinces, Cities and Municipalities Chess Team Championship

MANILA---The City Government of Bacolod and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines under the auspices of the Department of Interior and Local Government in cooperation with Yuhom Foundation Inc., Bacolod City Tourism Office, Bacolod City Health Office, Bacolod City Information Office and Bacolod Chessplayers Association will jointly staged the Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez Masskara Festival National Inter Provinces, Cities and Municipalities Chess Team Championship on October 12 to 16, 2022 to held at the Forest Park Resort in Bacolod City.

The event is endorsed by the Department of Interior and Local Government to Local Government Units for active participation and is sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), Federation Internationale Des Echec (FIDE) and supported by the Philippines Arbiters Chess Confederation.

The tournament is a team competition composed of five players in every team and is open to chessplayers of an average team FIDE Rating on rapid or standard of 2250.
