Four highly-charged professional boxing bouts backstopped by a bevy of amateur boxing and mixed martial arts or MMA contests will highlight the official inaugural presentation of the newest local boxing promotion outfit, JMS Anchor Promotions, in Dasmarinas City on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Dubbed "Angklahan sa Dasmarinas 1", the event will mark JMS Anchor Promotions first official boxing production and public presentation and will feature the fast rising local lightweight sensation Ryan Racaza and two other undefeated fighters from the JMS stable against separate opponents from rival gyms.

The event will be held starting at around 1 pm on August 28, 2022 at the JMS Boxing and Biagtan MuayThai Gym, Raquettaz Badminton Center, Don Placido Campos, San Agustin 2 Dasmarinas City, Cavite Philippines. It will be free to the public though AITF pandemic protocols would be strictly enforced.

The hard hitting undefeated Ryan Racaza (12-0-0, 8 by KOs) will go up against veteran internationalist Jimmy Borbon of Camsur (7-11-4, 4KOs) in the scheduled 8 round main event bout at super lightweight. In the co-main event, guest fighter Lorence Rosas of Palawan (9-8-2, 4 KOs) goes up against another guest fighter from Malaysia Aiman Abu Bakar (9-1-0, 4 KOs) in another 8 rounder at super featherweight, lending international flavor to the event.

Two other JMS ace wards namely Rey Dogelio (2-0-0) and Jerson Arigolo (2-0-0) clash against Nestor Junio (1-16-2) of Camp Sales and Junjun Rimasog (0-9-2) of Muntinlupa City in a pair of four rounders at super featherweight and bantamweight, respectively.

Opening the event would be a bevy of amateur boxing and MMA bouts featuring aspiring guest fighters from various parts of the country.

JMS had planned originally to also feature world ranked flyweight Christian Bacolod who with Racaza form the outfit's 1-2 punch in the Dasmarinas maiden run but the once beaten Bacolod has been invited to fight in the main event of a boxing promotion in Sibonga, Cebu this Sunday, August 7, 2022 against April Abne.

JMS stands for the first letters of the first names of the promotional outfit's main partners Joel Paciones, former world champion now US based boxing manager-trainer Morris East and his lawyer-cousin Steve Santillan. Anchor represents the Merchant Marine background of lead licensee promoter Paciones who also hails from Dasmarinas City, Cavite.

Angklahan sa Dasmarinas 1 is a joint undertaking of JMS Anchor Promotions in cooperation with Biagtan Martial Arts and MuayThai Gym, Arm Sports and Dascity Steel Fabrication.
