PROMOTER BOBBY BOSTICK ARRIVING TONIGHT

Promoter Bobby Bostick is scheduled to arrive at 11:00 p.m. today (Thursday, Manila Time) according to the lawyer of IBF minimum weight champion Florante Condes, Atty. Edgar Padernal. .
Earlier, the aunt of Condes, Ms Loy Valencia told Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today that according to the individual who informed her of the visit, Bostick was ?interested in coming to settle things? with the current handlers of Condes.
She was also told that the Bostick group ?wants to give Condes a $10,000 bonus, personally? although she informed them it was impossible since the fighter was now training at the ALA Gym in Cebu and would not come to Manila until late May.
However, Atty. Padernal said they would not accept the money.
The aunt said the lawyer of Condes was determined to terminate the contract with Bostick citing several grounds including his failure to bid for the promotion of Condes? title fight against Indonesia?s Muhammad Rachman last July 7 in Jakarta and his June title defense against mandatory challenger Raul ?Rayito? Garcia in La Paz, Mexico.
