Faraon, Baoanan, Hidalgo, Estiola advance to National 10-Ball Tournament last 16

Jerico Bonus versus Raymund "The Pharaoh" Faraon
Johann "Bubwit" Chua versus Marvin Pastor

MANILA---Raymund "The Pharaoh" Faraon, Michael Baoanan, Ryan Mark Hidalgo and Mark Estiola punched their respective tickets to the National 10-Ball Tournament's round of 16 held at the Robinson's Mall in Naga City, Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Faraon, the pride of Sipocot, Camarines Sur, defeated Christian Agawa, 9-3, in the loser’s bracket to punch his ticket to the next round.

Baoanan toppled Eric Navarrete, 9-7, Hidalgo beat Alvin Daquioag, 9-7, while Estiola bested Amiel Leonor, 9-1.

Other pool wizards who also secured berths in the Round of 16 through the loser’s bracket were Alexis Ferrer, Marvin Pastor, Toni Regino and Kyle Amoroto.

Ferrer blasted Rex Lawrence, 9-0, Pastor dismantled Mark Chua, 9-3, Regino nipped Reyner Espejo, 9-7, and Amoroto smashed Poloy, 9-0.

Composing rest of the last 16 of this tournament that has a P252,000 prize pool were Carlo "The Black" Biado, Ronato "Volcano" Alcano, Johann "Bubwit" Chua, Rodrigo "Edgie" Geronimo, Anthony "Anton" Raga , James "Dodong Diamond" Aranas, Jerico Bonus and Raymart Camomot.

Biado takes on Ferrer, Chua will face Pastor, Geronimo squares off against Estiola, Bonus will face Faraon, Alcano opposite Regino, Raga will test the mettle of Baoanan, Aranas versus Amoroto while Camomot goes up against Hidalgo in the next round.
Tournament Director is Darwin Bernadaz, Tournament Promoter is Joevie Gonzales while Tournament organizer are Ronald Cayetano, Christian Agawa and Raymund Faraon.-Marlon Bernardino-
