Labog to defend title in the 2nd Maharlika Chess Tour online tourney

MANILA---National Master Eric Labog Jr. will defend his title in the 2nd Maharika Chess Tour 2022 Online Blitz Tournament on May 8, 2022 at lichess platform featuring a Grand Master, GM-elect, International Master, Fide Master and National Master.

13-time Philippine Open champion Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr. is seeing action along with GM elect Ronald Dableo, International Masters Chris Ramayrat Jr., Barlo Nadera, Ricardo de Guzman and Angelo Young, Fide Masters Alekhine Nouri, Robert Suelo Jr. and David Elorta and National Masters Noel dela Cruz, Romeo Alcodia and Edgardo Garma.

The 1 day free registration three minutes blitz online tournament, organized by Laguna Chess Association, supported by friends of Maharlika Party list in close cooperation with St. Peregrine Dental Clinic, CVJR Builders, Pro Source Construction Supply,Kuyang Dannys Restaurant, RD2 Consultancy & Engineering Services, Advocate Change Club, NQA Philippines, Cashien Commercial Bldg. and We Evolve Manila, offers P10,000 to the champion.

The second placer will get P5,000, third 3,000, fourth P2,000 and fifth P1,000. Sixth to 10th placers will pocket P700 each, 11th to 20th placers will receive P500 each while 21st to 30th placers will bring home P300 each.

Special prizes worth P1,000 each for the top performers executive, media,PWD, lady, unrated, senior 55 and above, junior 16 years old and below and kiddies 12 years old and below.
