WNM Sadey to compete in Nueva Ecija chess

Woman National Master Rinoa Mariel Sadey of Nueva Ecija is expected to give it her all to win the Freddie (Idol) Payong-Ayong and Coach Lito Matias Open Chess Tournament on May 1, 2022, 1:00 P.M at the 4th floor of SM Cabanatuan City.

The activity will be held in honor of these two individuals who have made significant contributions to the Nueva Ecija chess community.

The prizes for the 7-round Swiss system open competition are Champion – P10,000 & Trophy, 2nd Place – P7,000 & Trophy, 3rd Place – P5,000 & Trophy, 4th Place – P3,000 & Medal, 5th Place-P2,000 & Medal, 6th to 8th places – P1000 each, 9th and 10th places – P500 each. Additional awards will also be given for players such as Top Novo Ecijano, Top Female, Top High School, Top College, Top Senior, and Top 1800. A special 5-round Swiss tournament for the kids of Nueva Ecija will also be held (12 years old and below).
