The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Boxing and Other Contact Sports Division, together with the GAB Medical Section, led the
weighing-in ceremony today of 26 professional boxers who were scheduled to fight on April 9, Saturday, at Barangay Entablado, Rizal, Laguna. The ceremony was held to make sure not only that boxers would properly comply with weight requirements, but also that they would be medically and physically fit to participate in their respective fights.

The promotion's theme dubbed as "Fights for Survival" speaks for itself as it highlights a line up of interesting matches, with the bout between equally tough fighters, ARAR ANDALES and JOE CANOY, expected to wrap up the whole event. The two fighters will surely exchange swift and intense punches for a claim of the WBO Oriental Minimumweight Championship belt.

The glittering championship main event however does not mean that the supporting bouts should not be given attention, as well-trained boxers would also vie for the winning spots in the event. As expected, all these boxers will do their best to win by scorecard or by unprecedented knockout.

The supporting bouts to be watched out for are as follows:

Weldon Mendoro / Jerwen Mejes
Al Sabaupan/ Jason Egera
Jerald Into/ Ronniel Tabayag
Jason Balajadja/Kelvin Tenorio
Jericho Gatchalian/Juanito Hondante
Denmark Quibido/Ruben Traza
Ronald Alapormina/Ernie Mino, Jr.
Kevin Aseniero/ Jay-Ar Diama
Kenneth Llover/ Marvin Lulu
jonah Gajana/Eric Tolosa
Leboy Atencio/Archie Quanico
Noli James Maquilan/Michael Sarili

The promotion was made possible by the constant efforts of GAB Licensed Promoter Gerry Balmes and Licensed Matchmaker Artemio Monis in organizing marvelous boxing events.
