All eyes on Cosbusters

MANILA---Defending champion Cosbusters Philippines Corp. Chess Team will field a near-intact lineup as they gun for an unprecedented two-peat titles in the Mayor Sara Duterte Chess Online tournament Philippine Chess League (PCL) Season 3 gets underway on April 8, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. via the lichess platform.

Bannered by playing team manager Jezreel Lopez, playing coach Richie Jocson and playing team captain Freddie Talaboc, the Cosbusters are looking to defend the title they won last March 20 after beating inaugural winner Chessmis TV Chess Team.

Joining Lopez, Jocson and Talaboc are AGM Nezil Arj Magnaye Merilles, AGM Carl Zirex Sato, Kevin Arquero, Francis Talaboc, Stephen Manzanero, Roumundo Edades, Chester Neil Reyes, Vladimir Gonzales, Ervil Villa and Fern Falle.

“We’re hoping to do well again in the Mayor Sara Duterte Chess Online tournament Philippine Chess League (PCL) Season 3 and defend our title with our near-intact line-up,” said team owner Billy Joe Ereno.

Other members of the team were AIM Mark Anthony Dulatre, Kate Ordizo, Ericka Ordizo, Yaneah Sofia Morada, Keith Adriane Ilar, AFM Yosaf Morada, Cyrus Vladimir Francisco, Engr. Edwin Lorenzo, Renato Agra and co-team owner engr. Jeson Bolando.-Marlon Bernardino-
