Orcollo, Muhlach, Obligacion grace 10-ball billiardsfest on Friday

MANILA---No less than South East Asian Games gold medalist Dennis Orcollo and actor Nino Muhlach will be the guests of honor when the first ever First Maestro Mistica Custom Cues 10 Ball Open Tournament gets under way on Friday at the 3rd floor Bowling and Billiards, Sta. Lucia Mall in Cainta, Rizal

Orcollo, a close confidante of billiard promoter Ramon "Maestro Monching" Mistica, will deliver the inspirational remarks in the opening ceremony of the three-day (April 1 to 3, 2022) Games and Amusement Board (GAB) sanctioned tournament backed up by Ropa Commercial, LifeWave x39 and Wilde Blue Chalk.

Orcollo and Muhlach are also expected to make the ceremonial lag together with JCO Gold Realty President Jyre Dominic Obligacion, billiard promoter Mr. CY and Mistica.

Billiard promoter Edgar Acaba, tournament director Darwin Bernadaz and Joel Estella Calzado are also invited to attend the opening ceremony.

At stake are P40,000 plus Maestro Mistica Custom Cues for the champion.

The runner-up gets P20,000, third to fourth placer will bring home P10,000 each while fifth to eight placer will receive P5,000 each. With no less than many-time Japan Champion Roel Esquillo wielding his magic will surely be another world-class event.

Besides Esquillo, also competing are Jericho Banares, Mark Aristotle Mendoza, Resty Labastida, Erlindo Doria, AJ Manas, Bernie Regalario and Manalo Tanasas.

Also seeing action are Kenneth Arpilleda, Alex Lumpay, Patrick Gonzales, Jonas Reyes, Julius Orcollo, John Salazar, Arvi Tanega, Franz Nikko deleon,Eric Navarrete, Jesson Marabi,Dean Mark Castronevo,Mark San Pedro,Rayner Asunta Espejo, JP Sy, Yves Cabrito and L.A. Garde.-Marlon Bernardino-
