MANILA---Jonas Magpantay won the 1st IMBA’s Place Taguig 10-Ball Open Tournament title Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the IMBA’s Place Billiard Hall in Taguig City.
The top player of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro Magpantay, also knowN as “The Silent Killer”, pocketed the top prize of P70,000 after defeating Paolo Gallito with a score of 11-6 in the finals. Gallito settled for P30,000 runner-up prize.
Magpantay's entry into the Finals was highlighted by a victory over Jerico Banares, 9-6, in the Quarter Finals Match and Jason Sentillas, 9-5, in the Semifinals.
Gallito, on the other hand, needed to beat Dennis Orcollo, 9-4, and Angelo Ariola , 9-5, to arrange a titular showdown with Magpantay.-Marlon Bernardino-
