MANILA---Zamboanga Sultans scored twin victories in the 2nd season of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) All Filipino Conference online chess tournament virtually held at Chess.com Platform on Wednesday night.

The Sultans started things off with a 16-5 triumph over Cagayan Kings and followed it up with a 11.5-9.5 win over Caloocan Loadmanna Knights to raise their record to 16-7 in the Southern Division.

Zamboanga made its presence felt in the blitz against Cagayan on wins by National Master Paulo James Florendo, Shela Khan Sepanton, Fide Master Belsar Valencia, National Master Joey Albert Florendo, National Master Raymond Salcedo and National Master Zulfikar Sali.
