MANILA---The founding officials of the newly formed Metro Manila Billiards Association (MMBA) meet Wednesday night with hopes of producing more tournaments and top caliber players that would represent the country in the international scene.

No less than Billiards Sports Confederation of the Philippines board of trustees/board of director Jesse Gonzales Cambosa attended the meeting at Mary Grace Restaurant, New Port City, Resorts World Manila, Pasay City, which also coincided with the induction of officers headed by Jr Velasco (president) and John Berille (vice president).

“The establishment of Metro Manila Billiards Association (MMBA) will surely help the BSCP achieve our goal of producing more tournaments and world-class players,” said Cambosa, club adviser, consultant and member of the board.

The other Metro Manila Billiards Association (MMBA) officers are Romulo Manuel (secretary-general), Kevin Lee (treasurer), Emil Dela Paz (auditor), Vergel Recaido (tournament director), Allan Soliman (assistant tournament director) and Charles Tanasas (assistant tournament director).

Committee members are Jun Ronquillo, Serge Monton and Marvin Paringit.
