NCAA-bound National Master Jasper Faeldonia captured his 4th Championship crown in the weekly RCC Grand Prix Chess Tournament held last February 20, 2022, via the lichess platform.
The Arellano University top player under the tutelage of NM/AGM Rudy Ibanez collected 8.5 points same points gathered by Financial Specialist Bryan Blair Fallarme but Faeldonia got a higher tie-break to capture the crown. Rounding up the top 10 are Bryan Blair Fallarme 2nd place, Eric Mordido 3rd place, Phil. 7-time Executive Champion Dr. Jenny Mayor at 4th, Naser Relano at 5th, Meliton Yu at 6th, Vance Fajarit at 7th, Engr. Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia at 8th, DILG-MLGOO Carlito Faina Jr. at 9th & Nomie Fajarito at 10th place.
A good preparation for NM Jasper Faeldonia who recently attended the 10-day Asian under 20 Chess Training Camp hosted by the Asian Chess Federation, Asian Chess Academy & FIDE Development Fund thru the National Chess Federation of the Philippines.
NM Jasper Faeldonia is scheduled to play in the 97th season of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) this last week of February up to the 3rd week of March 2022. In the 96th season, NM Jasper failed to duplicate his NCAA Gold Medal he won in the 93rd season after being eliminated in the Quarter Finals by Letran's top player FIDE Master Christian Mark Daluz.
"Congrats to you my son! Good luck and God bless you in your next competition. We are proud of you! To God be the glory," said engineer Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia.-Marlon Bernardino-
