MANILA---THE Hon. Sen. Manny Pacquiao Over the Board Open chess tournament gets underway on February 6, 2022, 10am at San Juan Gym, Beside The St. John Baptist Church in Taytay, Rizal.
The champion will earn P6,000 plus a trophy. The second placer will get P4,000 plus a medal , third placer will receive P2,500 plus a medal, fourth placer will bring home P2,000 plus a medal while the fifth placer will pocket P1,500 plus a medal.
Sixth to 15th placer will went home P1,000 each plus a medals.
Special prizes for the Top Junior (20 years old and below), Top 3 Taytay Rizal and Top Lady.
"Entry fee P200, no-onsite registration, only vaccinated chess players can join."said tournament organizer Mr. Jun Panopio.
