MANILA---Bryan Blair Fallarme of Corcuera, Romblon bagged his 6th Championship crown in the weekly Grand Prix of Romblon Chess Club. Fallarme a Corporate Accounting Specialist, scores 9.5 points with 9 wins, 1 loss & 1 draw to edge 2nd placer Jayson San Jose Visca and Jaymiel Piel who scored 9 points each. Other winners who were included in the top 10 are NM Jasper Faeldonia 4th, John Rey John Rey Monzales Castro 5th, Christian Ygerr Servanez 6th, John Paul Canulo 7th, Dr. Jenny Chessmate Dr. Jenny Mayor Mayor 8th, Vance Fetil Fajarit 9th, & Andrew Gonzales at 10th.
The final Grand Prix Event for the month of January will be tonight at 8:00 PM via lichess platform. Jaymiel Piel leads the overall standing with 86 points followed by Christian Ygerr Servanez at 2nd with 73 points; Dr. Jenny Mayor at 3rd & John Paul Canulo at 4th with 71 points each.
