LEWKOWICZ HAS NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR NOLI EALA

Internationally respected matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz, one of the most astute men in the boxing business, has nothing but praise for former PBA Commissioner Noli Eala despite the fact that Eala's planned Third Force promotion of a fight card in Dubai set for April 18 has been cancelled.
In an overseas telephone conversation with Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today, Lewkowicz said ? I believe Noli is a great person. He is a very good man who is new in the boxing world and made some mistakes. I will continue to support him and if he decides to make a fight and continue in the boxing business, I will be very proud to be his matchmaker for the rest of his career.?
Lewkowicz stressed ?I have given him a vote of confidence and it would be an honor and privilege to continue being his matchmaker.?
It was Lewkowicz who arranged the fight card in Dubai which he said had to be cancelled because the business partners in the oil-rich kingdom failed to honor their financial commitments.
